Are you Chinese people?

Hey everyone this was an awesome week! It seems like every week is a great week here in Pitesti and I think it's because we are bringing souls unto Christ and fulfilling our missionary purpose!! First off, our baptismal dates are doing super great and they are getting ready for baptism. Mihai came to church and afterwards we had a lesson with President Constantin about what will happen at the baptism and afterwards and it was a good moment. He wants President Constantin to baptize him and that's super cool and Constantin is super excited. We had his interview today and he's prepared and ready and it'll be a good ceremony of Saturday. We'll continue to help tighten up his loose ends, but it should be good this week with him. Dragos also came to church and he enjoyed it. The awesome miracle with him was that he had an exam this weekend for university and we promised him that if he reads the Book of Mormon, he will pass his test. So after his exam, we called him to

Cactus Jack and the Notebook

Hey everyone! It was a pretty great week honestly over here! This week we had a lot of great experiences, all I feel like according to our faith and diligence. First off, we had a couple great lessons with Mihai as we focused on the Plan of Salvation and our purpose on Earth. We testified strongly of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and that brought the Spirit which prompted us to invite him to baptism on June 29th. He accepted and this Sunday he came to church and took another step forward towards baptism. He is progressing pretty well and now we want to ask him the baptismal interview questions to know where the is and what the next steps are for his progression. And then we have Dragos who we taught the Restoration and he just ate it up. His first comments when we asked about his religious background were he wants to come closer to God. So when we testified that the Book of Mormon is a witness of Jesus Christ and that a man will come closer to God by reading it, he had no hesitation

Scârbosule

Hey everyone, this was a pretty good first week back here in Pitesti!! Some friends we got to know in Cluj.  They have the best fries! I was actually very surprised to have had so many lessons this week, I think we had one every day and when we didn't have lessons, we did solid studies and finding activities and we found a good amount of new friends. We had a lesson with a girl named Ioana and her situation is really cool and exciting. She has only one concern, which is the question "Does God exist?" and she expressed that if she receives an answer that He does, then she will be baptized hands down, even if she is not a huge fan of the branch and how church services are. She has a true desire and now it's just the receiving answer process. We have been recommending scripture passages and talks for her to read and today we are going to meet with her and share the talk about personal revelation by President Nelson. I have a really good feeling about all this and I

Back to the Land of Promise

Hey everyone, sorry you didn't hear from me this last week. We had some Carbon Monoxide problems, but no worries, I am alive and well and I am able to email this week!! So transfers happened again and this time I am not safe from the chopping block as I will be checking out of Cluj :/ It's been great here and I loved serving here but the Lord needs me in other places. And that place just so happens to be Pitesti once again! It's been a year since I served there so it'll be good to be back!! I'll be with a missionary named Elder Rawhouser so it should be a good time! We are going to get stuff done!! This was a pretty good week for us in Cluj. It was honestly a good ol' hardworking week that felt super long and hard until we saw the fruits of our labors at the end of the week. We had a couple really good lessons with people and tried to reset our expectations with our friends. We had a lesson with a guy named Calin for the first time and it went really wel
