Do it for the weekly

Hey guys this was a solid week here in Timisoara!! We finished the transfer really strong here as a companionship. The good thing is, Elder Kemeny and I get to do it again because we are staying together for another transfer!! So woo hoo!!!! We had a really solid Sunday this week once again. So we only had 12 people at church, but 5 of those were people we are teaching which is the most I have ever had at church!! We had Loredana and Marius there who are our top people, but the best was a new guy we are teaching. His name is Darius and he's 19 years old and awesome!! He was met on the street and was interested in coming to church so we invited him. He came and he loved it!! The members were helping him with the hymns, he was singing along, the members helped him find scriptures when they were talked about in sacrament meeting and in Sunday School, he was participating and was loving it!! We are now going to meet with him this week and help that faith grow! He's awesome an

A Curge - To Flow

Hey everyone this was a pretty big week and a lot of great things went down!! The biggest highlight of this week was our lesson with Loredana. We focused on baptism and 2 Nephi 31 and how baptism is an important step on our path towards Christ. It went really well and the Spirit was very strong. We had planned to set a baptismal date with her this week and while we weren't able to establish a date, we committed her to pray, read, and come to church, all so she can receive and answer about whether or not she should be baptized. And she has done all three things and has come to church for her 3rd week in a row, something that hasn't been done in quite a while. I know she is feeling the Spirit and Elder Kemeny does too. This week we will go back to baptism and if she truly has been reading and praying, I know she will be ready. But if it is not God's will for this to happen this week, we will continue to work hard until the time is right. We had a pretty good Sunday as

It's Been Quite a Ride

Hey everyone, this was a rockin week with some rockin happenings!!! We got soaked in the rain... First things first, church has been lit. We had a branch council this week to discuss ways to bring back members and help create a bond with investigators and the council was all in for it. Another great thing that happened with members was that I had a little talk with all the priesthood brethren about some sick members that are unable to come to church. We set up a rotation for us to visit them each Sunday to give the sacrament to them and to help them feel loved by this branch. And the brethren are absolutely willing to do this work for our fellow brothers and sisters. And the last thing I saw was how unified this branch was this week. We had 19 people at church with 4 investigators and after sacrament, probably every member talked to each investigator like they were part of the family. I have never been more proud of a branch/ward in my entire life. Great things are happening w

...guh...

Hey everyone this was a super great week! We worked hard and we saw some fruits of our labors! English Class So the biggest highlight had to have been at church on Sunday. Whenever you have hard weeks, whenever you really put forth the effort into something, you want something good to happen in return. And we were blessed to have 14 people at church, 3 people we are teaching at church, and we just felt good about it. I know they are staggering numbers, but I feel super blessed and happy for what happened. These are some of the best numbers I have really seen (outside of Bucuresti because there's a lot of people haha). But for here in Timisoara, it was amazing. We had this couple named Raul and Lili at church and the funny thing about them is that we accidentally invited them to church. We thought we were inviting someone else but in the end it went great. They really loved coming to church and now we are meeting with them this week! It's pretty great how God will se
