Elders Dahl, Church, Bowen, Kemeney in Sibiu for Christmas

It's been a really great week for us, both in Timisoara and in Cluj. In Timisoara, we had a great couple of days to properly send me off! The greatest story was that Elder Strobel and I went bloc knocking for the first time in a long while. While we were doing so, we didn't knock any doors and we found 2 new friends!! What happened was that we rang their number outside the bloc, they answered and when we got to their floor, they opened the door straight up and let us in. Inside was a 70 year old man named Octavian who spoke English and really wanted to practice his English with us. So we went in and talked with him and his wife, Aurelia. As we were talking, we got to share about the Book of Mormon and we shared the Restoration and the Spirit was super strong!! They wanted a Book of Mormon so we gave them one and they wanted to come to church!! So that was a great way to end my time in Timi. And then in Cluj, Elder Dahl and I got straight to work to bring souls unto Christ! And we had a great lesson with a man named Gabriel and the Spirit once again was super strong!! He really wants to be baptized and knows the church is true, the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and he has a simple but strong testimony. We weren't able to set a baptismal date, but we really helped him and we now know what we need to do to bring him to the waters of baptism. We are keeping daily contact with him and we really hope he keeps progressing towards baptism.

With Every Hardship, There is Ease

Hey everyone, this was a pretty fun week for us! First off, crazy awesome miracle!!! So for the past couple weeks, we haven't been able to get in contact with our good friend Dragoș. But we found him on the street and we invited him to church and the most amazing thing happened. He told us that these past weeks he had been in the hospital because of something with his head. But while in the hospital, he had a dream with an angelic person telling him that he needed to be baptized in the church of Jesus Christ. So on Sunday he told us he wants to be baptized as soon as possible, which leads to us having a baptismal date with him for the 3rd of August. God works in marvelous ways because he truly loves us. Another cool miracle this week was our friend Amber. She's from China and is doing volunteer work here in Romania. This week we started teaching her Romanian/Gospel and its been really great! Week 3 in the books!

HEYYYYY YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS???? It is email time!!!!!!!!! This week was full of entertainment and I have a lot to tell you so listen up! Sunday was another great day in the MTC! The talks in our sacrament meeting were focused around the Holy Ghost which really brought the spirit to the meeting. We also got the opportunity to watch a talk by Elder Bednar called "Recognizing the Spirit". I learned really one big thing from that talk and it was to QUIT WORRYING ABOUT IT!!!! If you are given a prompting and it tells you to do something good, then do it. It is the Holy Ghost working among you and you should not doubt that fact. I really loved how even though that talk was years in the past, it stills applies to today! I was also called to be Zone Leader of my entire Zone , which freaks me out cause I am the youngest elder out of all of them but I feel blessed to be put in that position. My zone is gonna rock!! Stand Ye in Holy Places

Hey everyone!!! So this was a really big week and a good amount of things went down, but I don't have all the time to talk about them, so I'll just give you all the basics! Bowen and Hoisington in the street! So the highlight and downfall of this week was when we set a baptismal date with Felix for about 24 hours. So we met up with him this week and we had a lesson about the Plan of Salvation. We had Fratele Matei with us and he was a big help for us because he loves this lesson. So we teach and it went really well and we set a date for August 18th! We were happy, Matei was happy, it was great. But we were talking with him at night and he said he no longer had any faith. So naturally, we meet up with him again and it was an interesting meeting. Essentially he is looking for historical evidence that the Book of Mormon is true and he doesn't have that evidence that it is true. So, we dropped his date and we won't be meeting with him anymore until he starts having ...
